The two-story brick building was constructed in 1892-93 as the People&#8217;s State Bank.\u00a0 It became known as the First\u00a0 National Bank in 1904 and finally as the Citizens&#8217; State Bank in 1914. The\u00a0 structure is a fine example of Renaissance Revival architecture.<\/p>\n<p>Early president of the bank was A.H. Colman, one of Diller\u2019s most prominent citizens over the years. He came from Cass County, Nebraska, in the 1870\u2019s and dug the well in the center of Main Street.
